On September 9th at 2:30 pm ET, the US Government’s Department of Health & Human Services (HHS) presented a live webchat from the White House to educate the public on the introduction of CuidadoDeSalud.gov.
This government website is the first of its kind in Spanish to help Latino consumers take control of their health care.
Carl Kravetz, the publisher of Vida y Salud, was invited by the HHS to discuss the topic as well. Vida y Salud is the largest source of health information and wellness tools in Spanish on the Internet today.
CuidadoDeSalud.gov is also designed to help provide answers to questions from readers of important Hispanic Internet websites that want to know how new changes under the Affordable Care Act will affect the Latino community.
If the topic is of interest to you, please feel free to watch the webchat in its entirety.
