Retail partners are the key to selling more of your products in different locations. From the Apple store, to Barnes & Noble and now the Amazon Newsstand, there are plenty of options for your audience members to find your content.
With the Kindle Fire quickly becoming one of the top contenders next to the iPad, Amazon’s Newsstand might become a more desirable location for publishers and consumers alike.
At $199, the Kindle Fire has made the tablet device more available. For online publishers who want to take advantage of this retail partner, here are a few things to know:
-It takes 3-4 weeks to get a new publication launched on the Newsstand platform.
-Amazon.com determines the Kindle price for your publication. You are then notified with details prior to the launch.

-Publishers receive 70% of the “retail price, net of delivery costs.”
-Blog publishers “receive 30% of the gross revenue.”
-Periodicals cannot be offered for free on Newsstand, although free two-week trials can be offered to customers. They are not charged if they cancel within the two weeks.
