An established magazine publishing company in Amherst NH is looking to hire an Online Editor to work with the Editorial Director to create website content, e-newsletters, RSS feeds, and other online components for several print publications.

This is a full-time, onsite job. Duties include:
- Finishing the transition to a new CMS (Content Management System)
- Editing and adding new content to each site
- Creating online content that complements print content
- Working to develop a subscriber community online
Editing duties will include proofreading, developing topics and features, and content writing.
The ideal candidate will have experience with online content and editing. A science background is helpful and strong language skills a must. They will be a detail-oriented self-starter, with the ability to work largely unsupervised and multitask among several different sites and duties. They will need to be comfortable in a decision-making role, but willing to take direction and suggestion from others within the company.
Necessary Skills:
- MS Office Suite
- Editing content for the Web
- CMS experience
- Ability to multitask
- Ability to work well within a team, but also with little supervision
- Knowledge of present Web standards
