The Internet offers many ways to get exposure for companies. By now, many of us are familiar with the benefits of using social media and search engine optimized blogging to build relationships and attract audiences to our content.
Those of course aren’t the only ways of gaining exposure through throughout the digital landscape. Here are a few other helpful tips for people to utilize that cost little to no money.
Some of these following suggestions from a recent Mashable article weren’t new to me. For instance, using low-cost or free press release distribution websites help to get the word out via press releases.
Contributing to other relevant blogs is a good way to find new audience members as well. If you can become a guest writer for a popular blog then chances are a vast number of new readers will see your work. Since becoming a guest writer for popular blogs isn’t always the easiest thing to do, adding comments to their blog on related topics is a great way to start a relationship and still find interested eyes. Be sure to include a link to your blog when possible.
HARO, a media query service, is a place where media pitches are sought out by reports. It’s much easier to use this service than to blindly send out cold pitches. This avenue was new to me and I’m excited to try it out.
