Don Nicholas
Founder & Executive Publisher
Don Nicholas serves as Executive Publisher for Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints. He is responsible for all creative, technical, and financial aspects of these multiplatform brands. As senior member of the editorial team, he provides structural guidance, sets standards, and coordinates activities with the technology and business teams. Don is an active gardener whose favorite crops include tomatoes, basil, blueberries, and corn. He and his wife Gail live and work in southern Massachusetts surrounded by forests, family farms, cranberry bogs, and nearby beaches. Don is also the Founder of Mequoda Systems, LLC, which operates and supports numerous online communities including I Like Crochet, I Like Knitting, and We Like Sewing.
Nancy Horan
EVP, Technology, Operations & Finance
Nancy Horan manages all aspects of technology, operations, and finance for Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints. With a strong focus on user experience, she translates each brand’s essence into a modern, multiplatform interface that includes web, email, video, and social. In this role, Nancy oversees all technology including back-office operations and infrastructure, and is responsible for the daily operations of the organization and its financial health. Nancy is also EVP, Technology, Operations & Finance for Mequoda where she ensures the enterprise goes above and beyond to serve its audience members, sponsors, and affiliates.
Christy Page
Editor & Publisher
Christy Page serves as Sponsorship & Operations Director for Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints. She is the first point of contact for our business partners including sponsors, affiliates, and publishers. She manages all partner communication and scheduling for all members of the Mequoda team. Christy also serves as Editor-in-Chief of Mequoda Daily.
Bill Dugan
Executive Editor
Bill Dugan serves as Executive Editor for Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints. He is responsible for the development and evolution of all editorial and marketing frameworks. Bill first gained his gardening knowledge from his schoolteacher father—who spent his summers tending to a vast backyard food garden and teaching all eight of his children how to grow and harvest good food. Today, Bill tends a small balcony food garden from his apartment in Washington, D.C.

Pat is Founding Editor of GreenPrints, having established GreenPrints in 1990 as a unique gardening quarterly print magazine that is filled with entertaining, funny, and heartwarming stories about gardening and life. Pat’s vision continues to guide the editorial mission of GreenPrints, and he ensures that every published story is worth a read by subscribers.
Shannon Lewis
General Manager
Shannon Lewis is General Manager for Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints. She manages system development, content loading, and email broadcasting. She oversees the vast array of technology vendors required to support a modern, multiplatform publishing system. Shannon also manages long-range forecasting, budgeting, and financial reporting for both our wholly owned systems and select business partners.
Eileen Shea
Content Marketing Director
Eileen Shea brings her decades of multiplatform publishing experience to Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints as Content Marketing Director. She is responsible for all aspects of planning, execution, and analysis for both legacy and digital marketing programs including audience acquisition, retention, and satisfaction. Eileen also provides ongoing marketing and consulting support to our publishing partners.
Norann Oleson
Analytics Director
Norann Oleson serves as Analytics Director, bringing a laser-like focus on business analysis and decision support. She also has deep domain knowledge around all aspects of gardening, which she uses to assist the team in making audience decisions that are data-driven and audience-centric. Norann also supervises all analytics support for our partners including publishers, sponsors, and affiliates.
Jennifer Strange
Finance Director
Jennifer Strange serves as Finance Director for Food Gardening Network, GreenPrints, and Mequoda. She is responsible for all aspects of finance, accounting, fulfillment, and customer service. She and her team manage all transactions and recordkeeping associated with a modern, multiplatform publishing business.
Victoria Arnold
Content & Systems Director
Victoria Arnold serves as Content & Systems Director for our gardening and partner multiplatform publishing systems, overseeing project management and system optimization. Victoria ensures that editorial content is properly loaded, formatted, scheduled, and deployed. Victoria also serves as Mequoda’s copy editor, ensuring proper spelling and grammar and adherence to our network style guide.
Amanda MacArthur
Senior Editor & Producer
Amanda MacArthur is Senior Editor & Producer for Food Gardening Network and GreenPrints. She is responsible for generating all daily content and managing distribution across web, email, and social. In her producer role, she plans, edits, and deploys all video content for guides, magazine issues, and daily tips. As a best-selling cookbook author, Amanda cooks using ingredients from her outdoor gardens in the summer and from her indoor hydroponic garden in the winter.
Kate Bruzzi
Managing Editor
Kate Bruzzi serves as Managing Editor for our gardening systems and ensures that all print and digital editorial content is properly loaded, formatted, scheduled, and deployed. Kate also manages our artists and ensures that our gardening content adheres to all editorial and design guidelines.

Deb Kelly serves as Mequoda’s Business Manager responsible for day-to-day communication with our audience members about all aspects of their membership benefits, order fulfillment, and payments.
